Submit a Proposal

Are you a technology developer interested in TAP funding?

The Technology Advancement Program funds demonstrations for emission-reduction technologies that have not been commercialized for port applications.

Technologies must target criteria pollutants – particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, or sulfur oxides – and your technology must be able to achieve verification or approvals from the state Air Resources Board at the end of the demonstration.

To find out more, including instructions on how to submit a proposal, please review the TAP Guidelines.

If you’re proposing a technology for ships, please be sure to review the ARB’s Recommended Emissions Testing Guidelines for Ocean-Going Vessels.
